The Baladears joined Ewashko Singers in their annual Christmas Concert, Glad Tidings, performing Canadian composer Allan Bevan's 3-part version of Huron Carol.

The Baladears joined Bass-Baritone Douglas Renfroe in a concert, From Bach to Broadway - a fundraiser in support of St. Joseph's parish (Ottawa) Supper Table. The Baladears performed a 4-part version of Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin', from Oklahoma, and a SSAA re-arrangement (arr. Mary Zborowski) of Rowland Pack's version of Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen. The Baladears also joined Douglas Renfroe in his rendition of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah.

Although not featured as Baladears, we joined other ex-Opera Lyra Ottawa colleagues as choristers in the Canadian Opera Company production of the Harry Somers opera, Louis Riel - pesented and produced by Ottawa's National Arts Centre. How wonderful to be singing opera again!.

Again, not featured as Baladears, we joined other ex-Opera Lyra Ottawa colleagues in a "flash mob" appearance at the Canadian Federation of Nurses Gala event. What a pleasure to perform Va, Pensiero again, both with Judy Ginsburg and with our opera friends.

The Baladears performed as choristers in Ewashko Singer's Christmas Concert and were scheduled to perform Bach's Suscepit Israel, from his Magnificat. Unfortunately due to illness, the performances had to be cancelled but might be rescheduled to a future year.

The Baladears sang an a cappella version of Down to the River to Pray at an Ewashko Singers performance, celebrating the 75th anniversary of Ottawa's Rockcliffe Park. Despite a rainy day, large members of the community, including Ottawa's mayor, Jim Watson, were in attendance.
